Robin McGehee of GetEQUAL interview

Robin McGehee, co-founder of GetEQUAL, offered her insights into the state of the LGBT movement during a July 13, 2010, interview on Alternative Perspectives radio produced by Betty Couvertier.

A lesbian mom turned activist, she discussed her early days in the movement in her home state of California.

Last year, Robin undertook a prominent role as a co-organizer of the National Equality March on Washington, .D.C.

Today, with Kip Williams of GetEQUAL, she leads direct action and sometimes acts of civil disobedience to hold politicians accountable for their broken promises to the LGBT community. To read about GetEQUAL's mission, vision, theory of change and background, click here.
